As a technology-focused hospitality brand, we have significant international growth plans which will see 12 new YOTEL and YOTELAIR branded hotels open by 2018/19. YOTEL, which first opened its doors in 2007, has five sites already in operation - one 713 ‘cabin’ city centre hotel in New York (YOTEL) and four ‘in-terminal’ airport hotels, situated at London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle (YOTELAIR). Each location offers convenient and affordable yet luxurious accommodation to tech-savvy travellers demanding convenience at each touch point.
Amongst the new launches will be a YOTELAIR in Singapore Changi Airport (2019) and city centre YOTEL hotels in Boston (2017), Singapore (2017), San Francisco (2017), London (2018), Amsterdam (2019), Miami (2019) and Dubai Business Bay (2019).
Over recent years, the hotel and hospitality industry has seen great change, with many major operators changing to asset-light business models and the emergence of players within the share economy such as Airbnb. As with all our existing hotel locations, YOTEL will maintain its own asset-light strategy with these new launches, working with long-term third party investors in each location who value the YOTEL brand, culture and its unique product. YOTEL will continue to innovate within the market to provide guests with seamless, technology-driven experiences that rival its peer-to-peer competitors.
