BUSINESS TRAVELLER | YOTEL OPENS ISTANBUL AIRPORT PROPERTIES
YOTEL has opened landside and airside properties at the new Istanbul airport.
The city’s new hub was subject to several delays, but finally fully opened over the weekend, and as a result travellers can now choose from two Yotel properties at the facility.
The landside YOTEL Istanbul Airport features 277 cabin-style rooms, bookable by the night, while the YOTELAIR Istanbul Airport is located within the Family Palace Zone after security, and features 174 rooms bookable for a minimum of four hours.
Both properties have communal spaces (known as KOMYUNITI areas) for co-working, dining and relaxation, and the landside hotel features a restaurant, bar, gym and meeting spaces.
Prices start from €140 per night at YOTEL Istanbul Airport, and €95 for a four-hour stay at YOTELAIR Istanbul Airport.
Commenting on the openings Hubert Viriot, CEO of YOTEL said:
“Our arrival in the Turkish market highlights an exciting period in our global expansion plan and we are incredibly proud to be part of such a revolutionary project at Istanbul Airport.
“This will be our first location to share both the YOTEL and YOTELAIR offering, making it incredibly flexible for the modern traveller looking for the convenience of being only minutes away from check-in and departure gates.”
The YOTEL brand launched in 2007 at Gatwick airport, and there are currently 30 properties either operating or under development, with plans to increase this to 60 by 2023.Download article
