INTERVIEW WITH BRENDAN DALY – GENERAL MANAGER OF YOTEL SINGAPORE
With a confirmed opening date of 1 October 2017, YOTEL Singapore is counting down the final days to our official opening! We sat down with the General Manager of YOTEL Singapore, Brendan Daly, to get the inside scoop on what to expect at the first YOTEL in Asia.
Why did YOTEL choose Singapore?
As a strong aviation and tourist hub, Singapore boasts a constant and steady stream of tourist arrivals. We see Singapore’s strength as a top-tier tourist destination. The Singapore property will be a flagship for Asia and an opportunity for YOTEL to expand in the region.
Singapore also has a vibrant culture — she’s the epitome of a melting pot of culture, customs and traditions not seen elsewhere. These unique nuances of Singapore are what attracted YOTEL as we seek locations that are consistent with what we represent — dynamism and vibrancy.
Why was Orchard Road chosen?
Orchard Road is one of Asia’s most famous shopping destinations and is home to fashion favourites, specialist stores and other lifestyle choices.
