If you're trying to keep your New Year's Resolution of a healthy diet and regular exercise, then a visit to NYC for business should not get in your way. Yes, the Big Apple offers its fair share of temptations, but it's also home to some incredible classes and fitness experts. Not to mention, world class food “ even the healthy kind! Whatever your workout routine “ whether you're a gym rat or a Pilates enthusiast “ NYC has something to offer.

Looking to change it up a little? Why not try one of the many unique classes offered throughout the city. You can sweat it out with fellow New Yorkers in one of Swerve's competitive spinning classes. Or get your groove on at BollyX, the Bollywood-inspired dance workout. If you're a budding Yogi then Om Factory is just the place for you. Here, you can deepen your Vinyasa flow practice, or you can mix it up with an Aerial Yoga class! If you're stuck in meetings and boardrooms all day, then a bit of fresh air would do you good. At YOTEL, we're just a short walk from the Hudson River Park where you can bike or jog up and down the promenade as you overlook the Hudson. Wherever you end up, we're confident you'll have worked up an appetite.

A few of our favorite spots for healthy, fresh food include Dig Inn, a Manhattan-based chain that brings convenience and ease to farm-to-table dining. There are locations throughout the city and you can take your seasonal, local, organic meals to stay or to go. If you've got specific, dietary needs (gluten-free, vegan etc.) Blossom Du Jour has got you covered. This alternative fast-food restaurant has some of the best wraps in the city and their vegan desserts are to die for! Sometimes, all you need post-workout is a green juice, and Fuel Grill & Juice will concoct any combination of fruit and veggies you can think up. Stay healthy and happy!
