Listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, IFA Hotels & Resorts (IFA HR) is a leader in the development of mixed-use hotel and residential resort projects as well as luxury leisure services. The company's main shareholder is Kuwait-based International Financial Advisors and it currently has a market capitalisation in excess of $500 Million. IFA HR’s existing portfolio incorporates projects in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Asia and North America.
IFA has been the main historic sponsor of YOTEL since its inception in 2005 supporting the past 10 years of major development and expansion. In addition to being a shareholder, IFA also has a stake in YOTEL New York and YOTEL Dubai.

United Investments Portugal
Founded in 1985, United Investments Portugal (UIP) is one of the leading real estate developers in Portugal focused on master plan developments, integrated resorts and hospitality. The company owns and operates Pine Cliffs Resort, a Luxury Collection Resort in the Algarve and the Sheraton Cascais Resort in Lisbon.
UIP has had a longstanding relationship with YOTEL, first as a key stakeholder in YOTEL New York, YOTEL’s flagship hotel, and more recently as a shareholder of the management company. It is also actively pursuing opportunities to develop the brand in Portugal and Spain.
Kuwait Real Estate Company (AQARAT)
Kuwait Real Estate Company (AQARAT) is one of Kuwait’s leading real estate companies, with several firsts to its credit. It was the first real estate company to be incorporated into the Kuwait Stock Exchange, the first to develop mixed-use retail, office and car park in Kuwait, and the first to introduce the Build-Operate-Transfer concept before a formal regulation was adopted.
AQARAT is one of YOTEL’s key stakeholders, in particular in North America. Besides its investment in the brand, AQARAT has stakes in YOTEL New York, YOTEL San Francisco (due to open January 2018) and the future YOTEL Miami, which is currently under development with partner ARIA.
