    Talal Jassim Al-Bahar is the Chairman of International Financial Advisors KSCP, one of the largest investment companies listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange since 1987 (Ticker: IFA). With over twenty years in the investment sector, Mr Talal Al-Bahar has served in various positions during his career, starting as Chairman and Managing Director of Kuwait Invest Holding Company. Mr Talal Al-Bahar has been the driving force behind IFA Hotels & Resorts' global expansion, leading the company through its listing on the Kuwait Stock Exchange in January 2006. Under Mr Talal Al-Bahar’s leadership, the company has tripled in size and expanded its reach to North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Mr Talal Al-Bahar is also the Chairman and CEO of United Investments Portugal and the Vice Chairman of Kuwait Real Estate Company (AQARAT). Mr Talal Al-Bahar holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Studies from Loyola Marymount University and is a Six Sigma Development Champion.

    Carlos Leal is the General Manager of United Investment Portugal (UIP) spearheading the company’s overall strategy and operations. Founded in 1985, UIP is one of the leading real estate developers in Portugal focused on master plan developments, integrated resorts and hospitality. The company owns and operates Pine Cliffs Resort in the Algarve and the Sheraton Cascais Resort in Lisbon. Prior to joining UIP in 1999, Mr Leal held several positions within the Murray & Roberts Group and Nedcor Group in South Africa. Mr Leal’s experience spans over more than thirty years including vast international knowledge and expertise in the investment, development and asset management of major leisure industry projects. A qualified Quantity Surveyor with post-graduate credentials in Management and Business Administration, he began his career in the construction industry before moving into the leisure resorts market where he focused on project management and development.

    Cody Bradshaw is a Managing Director and Head of European Hotels at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he oversees Starwood’s hospitality acquisition and asset management activities across Europe. His portfolio responsibilities have included numerous North American and European lodging investments, including Starwood’s ownership of Louvre Hotels, the second-largest hotel chain in Europe. He has played a leading role in managing and growing The Principal Hotel Company portfolio that comprises over 40 properties and 6,500 keys across the United Kingdom — highlighted by the brand launch and opening in 2016 of The Principal Manchester, Edinburgh and York. Prior to joining Starwood in 2011, Mr Bradshaw served as VP of Acquisitions at Pebblebrook Hotel Trust. Before that, he was the first employee of the Chartres Lodging Group, where he played an integral role in growing the firm. Mr Bradshaw began his career at Hyatt Development Corp, after receiving a B.S. degree from Cornell University. In 2012, he co-created the Certified Hotel Asset Manager professional designation program and is the Co-Founder and President of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association of Europe. He is also a member of the International Hotel Investment Council.

    Sarah Broughton is a Senior Vice President who coordinates Starwood Capital's internal financial functions in Europe, including tax, reporting and accounting, and oversees Starwood’s UK human resources. She also spearheads the operations and investor reporting for Starwood European Real Estate Finance and its related co-investment partner. Since joining Starwood in 2007, Ms Broughton has played a key role in the asset management of a diverse portfolio of assets throughout Europe — including spending two years in Paris as a member of Groupe du Louvre’s management team. She previously spent five years as a Financial Reporting Manager for Whitbread Plc. Ms Broughton began her career at Andersen and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001. Ms Broughton earned a first-class honours degree in economics from Brunel University. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, as well as the Securities Institute.

    Mr Al-Bahar joined the IFA Group in 2010 in its real estate business and headed up IFA’s Al Wafir Marketing Services Company. Today Mr Al-Bahar is the CEO of IFA Food created in 2011 and has been the driving force behind the business which focussed on opportunities across the food sector, including distribution, retail and restaurants. The new company has a vertically integrated approach, which further strengthens IFA’s efficiency and control throughout its supply chain. Amongst other businesses under its umbrella, IFA Food has also developed a restaurant division, and in 2015 it acquired a strategic stake in one of the leading social media companies in the Middle East. Mr Al-Bahar also holds positions as a board director for Kuwait Real Estate Company as well as YOTEL and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California.

    Hubert Viriot joined YOTEL in May 2014 to roll out an aggressive growth strategy targeting key city centres and international airports in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Prior to his appointment as the CEO of YOTEL, Hubert was CEO of Raimon Land PLC, a leading real estate developer listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). During his four-year tenure in Thailand, Hubert orchestrated the successful turnaround of Raimon Land and increased the company’s development portfolio from USD200M to USD1.1Bn. Raimon Land's stock was one of the top 5 performing stocks on the SET and incorporated in the SET 100 Index. Previously, Hubert spent four years as Vice President of Investments & Acquisitions with IFA Hotels & Resorts, YOTEL’s parent company, and five years with HVS, a global consulting firm focused on the hospitality, tourism and real estate industries. Hubert has a BS degree in International Management from the University of Wales and a BS degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Glion Hotel School in Switzerland.
