Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Airport is London's busiest airport, with continuous direct flights to major international destinations. It is 19 miles from Clerkenwell which is easily reached by a road or rail: travel 15 minutes to Paddington on the Heathrow Express, then 25 minutes by taxi or take a short underground journey on the Circle line to Farringdon. You can also take the Piccadilly line underground to Kings Cross and change at either the Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith and City line, and one-stop to Farrington. Taxis take about one hour. 

Gatwick Airport

Gatwick is London's second busiest airport. It is 30 miles from Clerkenwell which is easily reached by: Thameslink rail services to and from Farringdon Station with a journey time of approximately 50 minutes. Taxis take about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

London City Airport

London City Airport is located in the Royal Docks in the London Borough of Newham and is only 8 miles from the hotel. Take the DLR towards Stratford International and change to the Hammersmith & City line at West Ham. Take the underground towards Hammersmith and get off at Farringdon Station and walk 5 minutes to YOTEL Clerkenwell. Your journey time will be approximately 40-50 minutes depending on the time of day.

If you are taking a taxi, it will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

By car

If you are planning to drive to Clerkenwell please be aware that you will be within the Congestion Charge Zone. A fee is charged on some vehicles between 07:00 and 18:00 Mondays to Fridays. For more information visit Transport for London's website.

Getting around

Transport for London and the London Borough of Islington both provide cycling routes in Clerkenwell, and the area is well connected to London's cycle network.
