Do you allow smoking at the hotels?

We have a strict non-smoking policy, and do not accept smoking anywhere on property. This includes all of our rooms and public spaces. There is a $500 fee that will be charged to anyone who violates our non-smoking policy.

Are guests allowed to bring bikes?

For the safety our guests, bikes and scooters are not permitted inside the hotel. As an alternate for your biking adventures, we suggest you take advantage of the many daily/hourly bike rentals throughout the city.

Do you offer early check-in?

Early check-in is offered at a cost and is based on availability.

Can I ship items to the hotel?

We accept packages on your behalf only by prior arrangement and agreement. All items should be addressed to the registered guest and where possible state the date of check-in. 

Will YOTEL store luggage?

We offer luggage/item storage for guests. Our Mission Control Crew will be available to assist you.

Can I ship items to the hotel?

We can collect your parcels on your behalf. All items must be addressed in the registered resident's name and, where possible, state the arrival date. Due to limited storage space, your parcels cannot arrive more than 3 days before you. Parcels must be collected within 48 hours.

*Please refrain from sending cash, valuables, or fresh food. Luggage will be handed over to you at check-in.

We also accept delivery from other hotels. Please contact Mission Control for details.

Will YOTEL store luggage?

We offer self-service luggage and item storage via YOBOT, available on a first-come, first-served basis. A gratuity of $3 per item will be applied if Mission Control crew assistance is required to load or unload luggage. 

In the event that YOBOT is at capacity or guests choose to store luggage in the hotel storage room, a gratuity of $3 will be applied to each item stored. 

Hotel storage, including the use of YOBOT, is available exclusively to YOTEL guests only. If you have any questions regarding luggage storage, our Ground Control Crew will be available to assist you. 

Checking in and checking out

Our standard check-in time starts at 3pm and check-out is any time before 11am. We offer an early check-in fee of $99 between 6am to 11am or $49 from 11am to 3pm. Our late check-out is $40 until 1pm, and $20 for each additional hour, plus tax. Subject to availability, excluding Suites. 

Guests arriving before 6am will need to pre-book the night before to secure early arrival.

The nearest metro/tube to the hotel is Times Square – 42nd Street / Port Authority Bus Terminal which is two blocks east of YOTEL New York on 42nd Street. It is a subway station complex located under Times Square and the Port Authority Bus Terminal, at the intersection of 42nd Street, Seventh and Eighth Avenues, and Broadway in Midtown Manhattan. The A,C,E lines go through there.

We do not offer a free shuttle/taxi service from local airports. Both JFK and EWR airports have standard fees into Manhattan for taxis, plus toll charges and tips. A taxi service can be arranged by contacting the hotel directly (+1 646 449 7700) prior to arrival, or by visiting Mission Control on the ground floor.

WiFi and internet acceptable use policy

We provide super-fast WiFi at our hotels. Its use is considered as the guest agreement with the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). YOTEL may change this Policy to reflect any variation in the law or whenever deemed necessary. The YOTEL WiFi may be used for lawful purposes only and in compliance with all current and future statutes in force. The guest agrees not to use the WiFi to send or receive materials or data which is in violation of any law or regulation or which is defamatory, offensive, abusive, indecent, obscene or in breach of confidence, privacy, trade secrets or in breach of any third party Intellectual Property rights (including copyright) or in breach of any other rights. YOTEL will always comply with local regulations. Allergies?

We've taken some measures to try to make your stay at YOTEL as safe as possible. Naturalmat supply our mattresses which are organic and made of natural fibre, with hypoallergenic/anti-microbial fill made of coir, lambswool and latex. All our pillows and duvets are made of hypoallergenic fibre. All cleaning products are environmentally safe and non-toxic. Carpets are cleaned using a ‘true – stem’ extraction cleaning machine that sanitises and kills all kinds of bacteria and germs. The paint used throughout the hotel is ‘Low VOC’, which improves the overall air quality for guests and staff. We are proud to be LEED Certified.

Can I bring my pet with me?

YOTEL has a no pet policy, guide and service dogs are of course allowed, you must let us know if you intend to bring your dog with you in advance of your arrival.
