What is the minimum check in age?
You must be 18 years old with photo identification to reserve a room. Acceptable forms of identification include a valid driver's license, passport, or government issued valid ID. Photo identification must also match the name that is on the reservation.
Are guests allowed to bring bikes?
For the safety our guests, bikes and scooters are not permitted inside the hotel. As an alternate for your biking adventures, we suggest you take advantage of the many daily/hourly bike rentals throughout the city.
Do you offer early check-in?
Early check-in is offered at a cost and is based on availability.

Are there any COVID requirements for travelers outside of the tri-state?
Guests travelling from outside of New York (exception NJ, CT, VT, MA, PA) must complete a Health Travel form as required by the State of New York. Mission Control will provide the form at check-in for completion.

Can I ship items to the hotel?
We can accept packages on your behalf. All items should be addressed to the registered guest and where possible state the date of check-in. Due to limited storage space, shipments should not arrive any earlier than 3 days prior to arrival. Stored packages must be picked up within 48 hours.
Will YOTEL store luggage?
We offer luggage/item storage free of charge via YOBOT on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event YOBOT is at capacity, we offer additional luggage storage with the first two (2) items stored free of charge.
For each additional item stored there will be a $2.00 suggested cash gratuity fee. Our Ground Control Crew will be available to assist you.
Checking in and checking out
At YOTEL, we’ve replaced the traditional front desk with check-in and out kiosks for a seamless stay cutting out all the queuing. You can access them 24/7 and should you need any assistance, the Mission Control crew is available around the clock too.
Our standard check-in time is any time after 3pm and check-out is any time before 11am. We offer an early check-in fee of $120 between 6am to 11am or $60 from 11am to 3pm. Our late check-out starts from $45 at noon, $60 at 2pm, $75 at 3pm.
If arriving Before 6am, you will need to pre-book the night before to secure early arrival. If checking out after 3pm, you will be charged the daily rate.

The nearest metro/tube to the hotel is Times Square – 42nd Street / Port Authority Bus Terminal which is two blocks east of YOTEL New York on 42nd Street. It is a subway station complex located under Times Square and the Port Authority Bus Terminal, at the intersection of 42nd Street, Seventh and Eighth Avenues, and Broadway in Midtown Manhattan. The A,C,E lines go through there.
We do not offer a free shuttle/taxi service from local airports. Both JFK and EWR airports have standard fees into Manhattan for taxis, plus toll charges and tips. A taxi service can be arranged by contacting the hotel directly (+1 646 449 7700) prior to arrival, or by visiting Mission Control on the ground floor.

We've taken some measures to try to make your stay at YOTEL as safe as possible. Naturalmat supply our mattresses which are organic and made of natural fibre, with hypoallergenic/anti-microbial fill made of coir, lambswool and latex. All our pillows and duvets are made of hypoallergenic fibre. All cleaning products are environmentally safe and non-toxic. Carpets are cleaned using a ‘true – stem’ extraction cleaning machine that sanitises and kills all kinds of bacteria and germs. The paint used throughout the hotel is ‘Low VOC’, which improves the overall air quality for guests and staff. We are proud to be LEED Certified.
Do you allow smoking at the hotels?
We have a strict non-smoking policy, and do not accept smoking anywhere on property. This includes all of our cabins and public spaces. There is at least a $250* fee that will be charged to anyone who violates our non-smoking policy.

Can I bring my pet with me?
YOTEL has a no pet policy, guide and service dogs are of course allowed, you must let us know if you intend to bring your dog with you in advance of your arrival.
