The conference and entertainment venue can host up to 300 guests and can be divided into separate spaces for more intimate events. Will I be charged for extra people occupying my room?
Our rooms are for single, double or triple occupancy, depending on the category. Only the tourist tax and breakfast may impact the amount on the bill.
Do I have to enter my credit card number online to make a reservation? Is your booking process secure?
Yes, your credit card number is used to guarantee your booking. For your information, our system is completely secure.
What is the city tax?
The tourist tax is paid to the canton of Vaud. It amounts to CHF 3.00 (CHF 4.50 from 1 January 2025) and must be paid by each guest.
This tourist tax gives you free access to the EXPLORE card.
I need my invoice. How can I get it?
Simply email us us your request with your last name, first name, stay dates and booking confirmation number. We'll email your invoice back to you.

In each room, you’ll find a hairdryer, superfast free WiFi, AC, full-size toiletries, rain shower, reading/mood lights, organic handmade Naturalmat mattress, laptop-size safe, large TV. Free tea and coffee and ironing facilities are also available in the self-serve galley on each floor.
Is there heating or air conditioning in all rooms?
Yes, all rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning.
Is there early check-in?
Standard check-in time is 3pm. Too late? Early check-in is available but is subject to availability upon arrival. Any early check-in may be subjected to a flat fee of 20 CHF (Swiss francs). To book and/or pay for early check-in please speak with our Mission Control crew.
Can I get a late checkout at YOTEL Geneva Lake?

Can I request a crib or any extra bed?
A crib can be added upon request (free of charge) - but not in our Premium Queen rooms. However, YOTEL Geneva Lake does not provide any extra bed. Only our First Class rooms are equipped with a sofa bed for a third guest.
Is there Chromecast in all rooms?
Yes, you'll be able to watch your favourite episodes in your bedroom thanks to the Chromecast system.
Do you offer room service?
We do not offer room service but our Grab + Go is open 24/7 and HVGGE bar and restaurant is also on site.
What are the opening times of the HVGGE bar?
HVGGE bar is open 7 days a week for breakfast from 6.30am to 10am, for lunch from 12pm to 2pm and for dinner from 7pm to 9pm. Reservation is required.
Do I have to book breakfast in advance?
You can add your breakfast in advance if you wish, but this is not compulsory and can be done on arrival.
How old do children need to be for free breakfast?
Buffet breakfast costs CHF 22 per person, for children aged 10 and over. Children under this age are free when accompanied by an adult.
Does YOTEL Geneva Lake offer a gym?
Our gym is now available 24/7 at the ground floor to all our guests .
Does YOTEL Geneva Lake have a spa or swimming pool?
YOTEL Geneva Lake does not have a spa or swimming pool; but the gym will be available soon.
Is there a rooftop terrace available?
HVGGE Place will have a rooftop very soon available where it will be possible to admire the magnificent panorama of the Alps while enjoying a delicious cocktail.

Can I leave my luggage at the hotel if I arrive early or after departure time?
Yes, you can leave your luggage if you arrive too early and the room is not ready, or if you still want to walk around after you leave.
