YOTEL London wear YO mask

August 2020 – YOTEL London, the innovative hotel for smart, tech-savvy travellers have teamed up with Henry Holland, renowned British fashion designer, to design a collection of fun, functional and fashionable facemasks, perfect for travel in the new normal.

The limited edition ‘Wear YO Mask’ collection brings sass and style to updated rules around wearing masks when in shops, public buildings or on public transport.  Poised to become as fashionable and mainstream as belts, glasses and handbags, the Henry Holland x YOTEL facemasks offer a glimpse into the future of everyone’s newest fashion accessory.

Henry Holland said“It's been really fun to work on this project with YOTEL, making a design unlike anything I’ve had the opportunity to do before. I’ve always looked for new and exciting mediums to work with and the timing couldn’t have been better. With facemasks becoming a bigger part of everyday life, people shouldn’t have to choose between safety and fashion, so it's great to offer the solution.”

Henry, famous for his fashion house, House of Holland, which launched with witty slogan t-shirts that pay ironic homage to his fellow designers, has also designed highly acclaimed fashion collections for brands including Levi’s and Selfridges. Renowned for his bold designs using quirky colours, patterns and out-there statements, Henry was the perfect match for YOTEL’s modern and creative style.

Guillermo Gomez, General Manager of YOTEL London, said: “We’re very excited to be working with Henry Holland. His signature style and our hotel are a match made in heaven, so it has been a very fun process to see his creativity align so well with ours. We want to remind everybody that if you stay safe, travel is still so much fun. We want our guests to feel comfortable and stylish at the same time.”

YOTEL London opened in Clerkenwell on 1 August and offers a hotel experience driven by minimalistic design and clever use of technology. Ideal for those who appreciate the quality of a boutique hotel but without the hefty price tag, rates start from just £85.

Henry Holland x YOTEL facemasks are available in two colours and will be available to guests for a limited time only whilst stocks last.
