YOTEL room in Geneva Lake

The international and innovative hotel brand, YOTEL, welcomes guests to its highly anticipated opening of YOTEL Geneva Lake, featuring Switzerland’s first Nordic-inspired gastronomy destination

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND (April, 2024) YOTEL, the global hospitality brand known for challenging the status quo, is proud to announce the official opening of YOTEL Geneva Lake as April 18, 2024, becoming the 22nd YOTEL property to open.

“We are thrilled to announce the full opening of YOTEL Geneva Lake, marking a significant milestone in our expansion journey,” said Hubert Viriot, CEO of YOTEL. “With its breathtaking views and innovative design, YOTEL Geneva Lake embodies our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences for our non-stop guests, including HVGGE Place, a new dining and event hub, created from our new partnership with Caviar House Airport Premium-Switzerland. We look forward to welcoming travellers and locals to this vibrant new property and providing them with an opportunity to experience the future of hospitality,” added Mr Viriot.

Conveniently located within minutes of Geneva Airport, and close to the banks of Lake Geneva as well as the city centre, the 237-room hotel is the perfect homebase for the non-stop traveller looking to explore the country and visit lively neighbouring towns such as Nyon, Lausanne, and Montreux.  The brand new property is designed to maximise the beautiful scenery surrounding the area, comprising two inter-connected glass buildings at different heights to ensure guests are captivated by views at every turn, including Mont Blanc – the highest mountain in Europe. The lighting in the public spaces is fully dynamic and programmable to complement the exterior view, changing of seasons, and activity within YOTEL Geneva Lake.

There are public area viewpoints of the lake and mountains throughout the hotel, as well as bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows to capture the surrounding scenery. Elevated F&B offerings, upscale meeting spaces, as well as YOTEL’s signature technology and design features in each room (such as adjustable SmartBeds™, sensory mood lighting, and features to connect mobile devices to SMART TVs) add to the guest experience. Guests also have access to self-service stations for check-in / check-out upon arrival.
