Fourteen hotels in six countries over three continents by 2020
As a technology-focused hospitality brand, we have significant international growth plans which will see 15 YOTEL and YOTELAIR branded hotels open by 2019. YOTEL, which first opened its doors in 2007, has operated four airport hotels under the YOTELAIR brand in London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris, Charles de Gaulle airports; and three city hotels in New York, Boston and Singapore. YOTEL is expanding rapidly with new hotels under development globally, including a YOTELAIR in Singapore Changi Airport and new city hotels in San Francisco, London Clerkenwell, Dubai, Edinburgh, Miami and Amsterdam. Each location offers convenient and affordable yet luxurious accommodation to tech-savvy travellers demanding convenience at each touch point.
Over recent years, the hotel and hospitality industry has seen great change, with many major operators changing to asset-light business models and the emergence of players within the shared economy such as Airbnb. As with all our existing hotel locations, YOTEL will maintain its own asset-light strategy with these new launches, working with long-term third-party investors in each location who value the YOTEL brand, culture and its unique product. YOTEL will continue to innovate within the market to provide guests with seamless, technology-driven experiences that rival its competitors.
